Benefits & Drawbacks of using the Diestro Vehicle
Even though the Diestro has the same hitbox as the Dominus, the general feel of each car is slightly different. Vehicles that share the same hitbox will always have similar drawbacks and benefits but they are generally 1/2 differences. This could be due to its turning radius, just mentally using a different car, and more.
The benefits of using the Diestro Rocket League car were that it feels amazing to dribble with. Having the ball on top of your car feels so much at ease compared to many other vehicles. Another benefit includes flying backward. Compared to other vehicles, you should notice a lot more control when flying backward in the air. This is surprisingly a fairly common skill that players need to execute during in-game situations. For example turning your vehicle mid-air when shooting off the backboard or going into mid-air challenges as the front and back of your car are stronger that the underside.
All vehicles come with drawbacks. A noticeable drawback with the Diestro compared to the Dominus was its turning radius. It felt a bit slower to turn the car into position.
