This tutorial will showcase in full detail how to install an anime mod in Minecraft- the Ninshu Origins mod.

1. Jarfix

The very first step is to install Jarfix. Even if you have installed it in the past, I recommend re-installing the latest version. Without Jarfix, or with an outdated version of Jarfix, any downloaded MC mods, texture packs, and maps will not launch successfully.

2. Forge

Forge is a crucial installation for this Anime modpack to be able to run.

Make sure you install the same Forge version as the Ninshu: Origins mod version. So in this example, we need to install the 1.19.4 Forge version as the only version the Ninshu: Origins mod is available to be downloaded in is 1.19.4.

Once you have clicked install for Forge 1.19.4, open your downloads folder and open the Forge download launcher. Click ‘Install Client’ and then wait for the installation to finish.

3. 3 Additional Mods required

For this Anime mod to run, you also need to install these 3 extra modpacks. Install these mods in the same 1.19.4 version, then drag and drop them into your Minecraft mods folder (find out how to access your Minecraft mods folder in step 5 below).

4. Anime Modpack

Click the button above which takes you through to the Ninshu: Origins modpack installation page. Click on ‘Files’, and then you need to match the game version column to the same Forge version you just installed. So in this example, I need to install a 1.19.4 version. You then need to match the Mod Loader column to Forge. If you are still unsure, you can filter your search to ‘1.19.4’ and ‘Forge’ above the mod file list.

5. Minecraft Mods Folder

You have installed the Ninshu: Origins mod, but we now need to move it into our Minecraft Mods folder. To locate our mods folder, type %appdata% into your Windows search bar. Then select your Roaming Folder, then your Minecraft Folder, then Mods. Keep this folder open whilst opening your downloads folder. Then drag and drop, or copy and paste the JourneyMap download into your Minecraft Mods folder.

6. Launching MC

Once you have followed these 4 steps, you’re ready to go. Open up your Minecraft Launcher and launch Forge 1.19.4. You may need to create a new installation, but usually Forge automatically appears in your downloaded versions list.
