Why the Hexed Decal is so important in your Car Design
Your selected Rocket League decal accounts for almost all of your car’s visual image and is therefore, the most important aspect of your car design.
When designing Rocket League cars, I always select the decal and its color before I choose the wheels. By following this method, it becomes easier and quicker to create your ideal car design.
How to get the Hexed Decal in Rocket League
There are many methods on how you can obtain this black market item. These involve player to player trading, blueprints, in-game item shops, and third party websites.
We have already discussed the limitation of using blueprints for this decal under the pricing section. If you unlock the Hexed via its blueprint for all paints including the default, then you are massively over paying. Similar to the in-game item shop, the prices here would be identical to its blueprint crafting cost. As well, the in-game item shop does not showcase every item. Only a few selected items are shown, meaning you could be waiting months for your desired item to show up. These two methods are legitimate ways to get this decal, but they definitely are not the cheapest.
So how can you get this decal cheaper? First of all, third party websites such as Aoeah (see green button link at top of page) sell items and credits for much cheaper prices. Be careful which third party site you use though! We recommend Aoeah. They have been in the market since the very beginning and are a trustworthy site with cheap prices, quick delivery times, and a good reputation within the RL community. Please trade at your own risk. Using these sites is against the games TOS. It is extremely rare to get banned, but it is possible.
Another method is through player to player trading. Let’s say you want the RL Hexed decal on PlayStation. At the time of writing, it is worth 100-200 credits. Make sure to double check this yourself. You usually try and get your wanted item for the lower value on this scale, so for 100 credits. If you have these credits, fantastic! If not, you could try trade up to these credits, or buy some from Aoeah which sell them cheaper than in-game. Once you have the required credits, you need to find a trader. There are many websites and Discord servers to find other traders in the community.
